Make a mixed juices of cabbage(band gobhi), mustard greens, kale, spinach and radishes. Drink one cup of this mixed juice once daily.

Take 10 gm of dhania seeds (coriander) and add it to a glass of water. Boil till it remains half of its volume and allow it to cool. Strain the mixture and take twice a day to reduce high cholestrol levels.

Mix equal quantities of long pepper (Pipali), black pepper(kali mirch) and dry ginger powder. Consume half teaspoon twice a day with lukewarm water.


  • Make a juice of 3-4 garlic cloves, 10-12 basil leaves, and one fourth cup of of wheat grass. Have once a day.
  • Mix 1 teaspoon of onion juice with an equal amount of honey. Take once a day for 1 week. Upon noticing improvement, continue for several more days.
  • Mix 1 gm of garlic paste with a glass of buttermilk. Drink this buttermilk twice a day.
  • Grind 10 gm of roasted watermelon seeds. Add the powder to 2 cups of water and boil for about 15 minutes. Strain the liquid and consume daily in the morning and evening.


  • Take one table spoon of castor oil at bed time until you get relief.
  • Develop a habit of drinking water in the morning. Start with 2 glasses of water, and increase intake up to 6 – 7 glasses. It is more beneficial if this water can be stored in a copper container overnight.
  • Soak 3-4 dried figs(anjeer) after washing them overnight in water. Eat them first thing in the morning, and also drink the water in which they were soaked. They should also be taken in the evening. Try this treatment for 3-4 weeks.
  • Apply 3 to 4 drops of lukewarm castor oil over the navel at night in kids. It will help in clearing the bowel movements in kids (of age 1- 3 years) in the morning.
  • Apply lukewarm sesame oil(til tail) on the navel during taking bath and put towel (which is dipped in warm water) on the lower abdomen.



Mix 2-3 teaspoons of coconut oil with 1 teaspoon of Indian gooseberry (amla) juice. Gently massage the scalp with this everyday.

Add 10 drops of lemon juice to 1 egg white and beat well. Apply to the scalp and hair once a week.

Mix 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 1 tablespoon mustard oil, and 1 cup yogurt. Apply this to the hair 30 minutes to 1 hour before washing the head and hair.

Soak 50 gm methi dana in 2 cups of water overnight, next day in the morning make the paste and apply on scalp for 15 minutes.

Chew 10 holy basil leaves (tulsi), 10 margosa leaves (neem), and 10 bael leaves (belpatra) on an empty stomach early in the morning.

Mix one fourth teaspoon of ginger powder with half tsp of turmeric powder and add honey to make paste. Take twice a day.

Boil 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder in 1 cup of water. Boil until it is half the volume, strain, add honey and drink warm.

Dry roast 3-4 black raisins and add pinch of black pepper and rock salt to it. Have this 2-3 times a day for 15-20 days.

Take 10-12 washed, crushed basil leaves and 1 tablespoon of finely chopped fresh ginger. Fry in a pan over low heat until the ginger has browned. Add 1 cup of water and boil for several minutes. Strain, add 1 tbsp of honey and drink.

Add some salt to warm water and gargle two or three times a day.

Chew a bud of clove or two cardamoms or a few raisins for relief from sore throat.

Mix equal quantities of powdered fenugreek seeds, turmeric powder and ginger powder. Take 1 teaspoon in the morning and evening with warm water.

Take 5gm each of ginger, black pepper, cardamom, clove, cinnamon and turmeric. Make a fine powder of all the above ingredients. Add 30 gm of powdered sugar. Take half to one teaspoonful of the powder, mix it with honey, and consume the mixture.

Prepare a decoction by boiling ½ teaspoon licorice root powder, ¼ teaspoonful black pepper powder, and 1 teaspoon of freshly grated ginger along with 8-10 basil leaves in a glass of water. Reduce it to a half. Add ½ teaspoon of sugar to it and have it lukewarm in morning and evening in place of tea/coffee.

Prepare a mixture of powdered dried ginger root, black pepper and long pepper in equal amounts and store in an airtight container. Have ½ teaspoon of this powder mixed with honey.

Add one teaspoon of turmeric powder to one glass of hot water. Drink this sip by sip frequently during the day.

Crush 2 teaspoon of coriander seeds and add 2 teaspoon of chopped, peeled ginger. Put the mixture into a frying pan over low heat. Stir to prevent the mixture from burning. Add 2 cups of water. Cover the pan to retain the fumes. Boil for a few minutes. Filter the liquid. Add 1 tbsp of honey for taste and drink warm.
